Question about GE Profile PFSF6PK Bottom Freezer French Door Refrigerator
We just purchased a new GE Profile side by side, bottom freezer refrigerator/freezer, unit Model Number PFSF6PKXABB (28 CF). One of my searches shows the model number as PFSF6PKXBB (missing the "A"), but i think it would be the same model. The refrigerator is working fine, but unlike our old refrigerator which was a smaller size (22 cf), this new one makes a high pitched sound when the condenser is running. I've unplugged the refrigerator and all sounds (including the high pitched sound) stops for a while. Once the condenser turns on again the sounds (including the high pitched sound) start up again. We're just not used to having a louder refrigerator. Is there a solution to the noises? How long will the condenser need to run on this model refrigerator?
Condensers do not run compressors do however and they run until the cooling /freezing need is met .

hopefully you have a service warranty. I have had me fridge for two years and have replaced the temp control panel twice thus far. serviceman coming AGAIN on Tuesday because now everything in the fridge is freezing. cna't get the temperature in freezer and refrigerator regulated properly. GE knows they have a problem...something in the computer panel board sticks. I'd give anything to be able to put this on the curb and buy a new refrigerator.
