Perform the following steps to try and resolve the issue:

  1. Remove the battery cover.
  2. Remove the battery (while the device is still powered on).
  3. Remove the Subscriber Identity Module (SIM) card.
  4. Reinsert the SIM card and the battery to reset the BlackBerry smartphone.

I did try taking the battery out while mobile on.. as well as the sim but didnt work for me. What i did was go to 'manage connections' and 'turned all connections off' then i went into my log to make a call... it says turn radio on. so i clicked top option and it worked.

What you wanna do is take out the battery and leave it out for 1-2 min. Reconnect the battery and if the issues persist call TMOB and have them update the network while the battery is out. After load is complete try making a call if not working still make sure to get a new sim card

Nothing to do with the battery. BB changes most of the +91... numbers to +1... This will not dial the number and you end up with the above mentioned error message. You check the number or edit the number to proceed.

I have tried all this it has not resolved the issue.

Radio path unavailable cant dial out on blackberry pearl

I know this issue, you need to call your wireless provider and ask them to run a voice trace on that call you dialed..once the trace is done, they will be able to identify the issue and fix it in < 24 hours.

Hope this was helpful...

Callers are not getting transferred to voice mail when I can't answer my blackberry pearl 8100

This might happen's because the voice mail number in you're Handheld might be wrong, Please check with that.
If the number is correct you your call will be transfered to voice mail, If the voice mail number is wrong then you need to contact you're service provider.
To find the voice mail number follow the step's:-
1) Go to call log.
2) Press menu key.
3) Select Option's
4) Select voice mail.
I hope I was able to help you today.

No tower available to call on. Maybe too busy or too small. Call your cell service on a land line for them to research

Extending Ring Time

You can try the steps below:

A) The simplest method is to call your carrier and request a longer ring time, up to 30 seconds.
B) If you have a GSM based phone, some have had success by dialing this number from your phone: **61*XXXXXXXXXXX**30#
  • Replace XXXXXXXXXXX with the number of your carrier voice mail center (find it by looking at your Phone Dialer > Options > VoiceMail > Access Number. Put your access number in place of the Xs above.
For example, the T-Mobile voice mail access number is 18056377243, and thus the string to dial would be **61*18056377243**30#
  • Replace the 30 at the end of the string with your desired seconds. For most carriers, 30 seconds is the longest allowed.
  • NOTE: Has been reported this doesn't work for Rogers (8700r) . 6/17/2005. Morser
