That's really strange. If you have already paid for the item and it has gone out of your account and you have been charged twice what I would do is to contact your bank to advise them of this. I would also get in touch with Amazon. I am enclosing the following link for you:

I want to print acopy of the manual for a nikon

i guess, it seems fair to get something you need to have with the camera (in this case the manual) that you already paid good money for. 1st level reps may not be able to assist you with this. better call nikon or your camera manufacturer and state and explain your case to the person that will be receiving your call. if they are not able to assist you. ask to be transferred to a supervisor or to their customer relations staff and take this up with them. they will be in a better position to assist you regarding your request. however, they may give in or not to it. so just an advise, explain why a pdf file manual won't work with you, be nice and treat them with same way you want to be treated...for all you know they might send the manual you need free of charge. hope this helps ;)
