This means that either the connected equipment is drawing more power than the Back-UPS can provide, or that the UPS battery is faulty.

Try the following:

Move one or more equipment power plugs from Battery Backup outlets
to Surge Only outlets

Charge the battery cartridge for 16 hours. Back-UPS runtime is
reduced until the battery cartridge is fully charged.

Replace the battery.

If the above does not fix it , not even replacing the battery, then the UPS is faulty.

Here is also the manual.

99% it's toast - with the wrong current, the battery can't handle it.

My ups periodically cuts out and comes back as if a reset button is being pressed. The replace battery light is not on but I'm wondering if that's the problem or if the unit is just dying.

could be a battery or it could be a problem with the power supply not being consistent voltage
units seldom die but the internal battery is susceptible to failure over a period of time

Having UPS Model No. BR 1500 in time of opening UPS shows over lode without giving any lode. Battery is new . can you tell me the solution.

Try to reduce your load. in a overload condition the UPS can not tell you what the load is if it has more then the 1500VA your UPS can not put out more then 1000 watts. Battery has nothing to do with the load.

Hello, I have a APC Backup UPS 800 (5 year old) started beeping. Assumed it was a battery problem and ordered a new APC RBC32 battery. When the battery arrived, installed it to the unit only to see...

Because of the electrical burning it is likely that the battery was not the cause of the issue in the first place, it is also likely that the unit will not be able to be repaired by you personally. Often these batteries have very long warranties and coverage, so see if APC will take the unit back along with the battery, if the battery was used in a faulty machine it may have been damaged so i would return that too to make sure that the problem doesn't come back in the future.

Overload light lights and unit beeps. It is not pluged into power and nothing is pluged into the unit.

It sounds like the battery is compatible with the ups.
However, APC has excellent free phone support.
I recommend that you give them a call.
Be ready to give them the model number and serial number for your UPS.
