First, point your browser to 192.168.1.1, and try the default passwords:

On most router, leave the user name blank, and in the password field type "admin" (with no quotes).

On some routers, both the user name and password is "admin" (with no quotes).

If this does not work, try any password that you think might work.

If all else fails, you will need to reset the router to factory default values. Then the default user name and password should work.

If the Homeplug is going to be connected to a wireless router, you should be using the wireless security key from your router in order for you to configure this unit...

Hope that helps..........

What password are you referring to... if you mean the actual internet connection thru your provider you will need to contact them and provide all your details correctly that they ask for.... ask them to reset your password.... and then use that to gain access

Trouble expanding my Belkin Powerline network

F5D4075 uses Homeplug AV standard and F5D4071 used Home plug 1.0 Turbo. Both are not compatible to each other. So if you form a network, you have to form with the same standard.
Secondly, You need just one Powerline adapter on the router and you can have 2 or 3 adapter connected to 1 computer each and all these computers can connect to the 1 adapter on the router. You do not have to use it in pairs
