Have a E-Machine that keep displaying in powersave mode

eMachines are a budget computer.

Designed to save the consumer money.
One of the items used that cost is saved on, is the Power Supply.

Power Supply is generic, and of low quality.
1) Low quality Electrolytic Capacitors
2) Low quality Power MOSFETs
3) Low quality Rectifier Bridge
4) Too small a gauge of wiring is used

Plus most consumers do not keep the inside of the computer clean, and if they do the Power Supply is usually neglected.
The two leading causes of desktop computer failure; the computer is dirty inside, and/or the Power Supply is bad.

With a weak voltage power rail you may see LED's light, and maybe fans spin, but there won't be enough power to turn the Processor on.

[No Processor operating, no computer. No computer = no video signal to the monitor. No Signal, Power Saver Mode, or Sleep Mode is indicated ]

1) If ALL of the LED's were lit up they would use less than 1 Watt of power.

2) EACH fan uses 2 to 3 Watts of power.

3) A typical Processor can use from 51 to 125 Watts of power.
Just depends on what Processor it is.

See if there is an unused working computer that has a KNOWN to be good, Compatible power supply; that you can use for a test unit.

Or use a multimeter to test the three main voltages, coming out of the Power Supply
3.3 Volts (DC) [ Orange wires ]
5 Volts (DC) [ Red wires ]
12 Volts (DC) [ Yellow wires ]
[ALL Black wires are Ground wires ]

My wireless network connection (Realtek RTL8188CU Wireless LAN)(dd-wrt-688), the signal is not stable, how can i make it stable, since my router is working in my other computer.

Stability could be caused by other electro magnetic signals in your home or office such as cordless phones, microwaves, security systems or other wireless devices that operate within the same frequency. try turning off any of these devices and see if your wireless quality improves.

Internet speed problem

Use the below steps.

1. Internet Speed Problems caused by Binding too many Agreements on Network Card
Slow internet surfing speed is a usual problem among LAN users because there are too many agreements binding on the Network Card. If a NIC is bound lots of agreements then the computer has to spend more time on identifying which agreement would transmit a certain group of data that passes it. PC users will feel uncomfortable at the moment when they are surfing the Internet. Here is a solution for this situation: a. Use a Network Card to run only PPPOE agreement to connect ADSL; this will provide the exterior connection of internet. b. Use another one to run other agreements in order to boost its performance so that the speed of internet surfing would be improved obviously.
2. Internet Speed Problems caused by Unbound TCP/IP Agreement.
Unbound TCP (Transport Control Protocol)/IP (international agreement) may be caused by reasons as follow: a. the driver of Network Card is installed incorrectly. b. There is a problem with quality of Network Card. c. PCI slot is broken. Solution for this situation: You should uninstall NIC driver in the Device Manager at first----reinstall the driver after you reboot your computer. If you still fail to improve the internet speed with this solution, please change a PCI slot for Network Card or change a new one.
3. Internet Speed Problems caused by low quality of telephone line.
If the phone line is affected by some bad extraneous factors, network device will adjust client access rate automatically and dynamically according by the quality of line and transmission distance. The Internet surfing Speed also will be affected by the export bandwidth, the website line from opponents and the device configuration if you try to visit foreign website.
4. Internet Speed Problems caused by too much installed Internet Explorer plug-ins.
Internet Explorer plug-ins would be installed or loaded on your computer automatically when you open Internet Explorer and visit website. Surfing speed of course will be slowed down by too much Internet Explorer plug-ins. It is highly recommended to use some optimization tools to optimize your speed of Internet and clean some disused Internet Explorer plug-ins to speed up Internet surfing.

My Acer Aspire M3201 has stopped booting up. The PC powers up and the lights come on but there is no signal to the monitor. All I get is a black screen (no start up logo or even mouse pointer). I've tried...

Bad Power Supply. Weak voltage power rail.

1) Acer's are known for low quality Power Supply's.

A) Low quality Electrolytic Capacitors
B) Low quality Rectifier Bridge setup.
C) Low quality MOSFET's.
D) Wiring that is used inside is too small of a gauge.

2) Dirt, dust, hair, etc., can render a Power Supply useless.

The Power Supply's used for today's computer are SMPS.
Switched-Mode Power Supply.

The cooling components are Heatsink's used inside, and an internal fan.

[ Typical construction of a Heatsink is a plate of metal with tall, thin fins protruding from it.
The plate of metal absorbs heat from whatever object it is placed against.
The tall, thin fins absorb heat from the plate, whereby they radiate the heat away.

If a fan is used along with the Heatsink, the air flow from the fan carries heat away from the Heatsink/s ]

When the cooling components for the SMPS are clogged with gunk, (Fan and Heatsink/s), the cooling capacity drops tremendously.
Heat = Wasted Energy
The SMPS strains to keep up with the call for power, but eventually cannot, and hardware components inside fail.
The SMPS fails.

3) ALL of the LED lights on at one time use less than 1 Watt of power.
Each fan uses 2 to 3 Watts
A typical Processor can use 51 to 125 Watts.
Depends on the Processor.

The Acer Aspire M3201 uses different versions of the AMD Phenom processor.
Phenom X3 8650 (2.3GHz)
Phenom Quad X4 (2.2GHz)
Are just two of the AMD Phenom's.

Depending on the Phenom processor it can use anywhere from 65 Watts to 125 Watts.

With a bad Power Supply you can have enough power to light LED lights, and spin fans, but not enough to turn the Processor on.

No processor operating, No computer.
No computer = No video signal to the monitor.

Suggest you unplug the computer from power, (Computer off. Hold the Power On button in for a count of 10 seconds), observe Anti-Static Precautions, and use a can of compressed air for computers to clean the inside of the computer out.

Remove the Ram Memory module/s, ('Sticks'), and clean the gold plated contact pins on the bottom, with a pencil eraser. Remove the eraser dust with air. (Use a can of compressed air for computers if available, or air pressure from your mouth will be sufficient)
Reinstall the Ram Memory modules.

Plug the computer into power. WAIT 1 minute, turn the computer on.
Still no?
Replace the Power Supply.

Some monitors have a analog/digital switch. Check you documentation to see if your monitor is of this type. If it is, it might be as simple as switching to analog instead of digital.
BTW, If your card only has VGA (the blue plug) then using the DVI adapter (the white plug) will not likely improve visual quality.

I just bought an Acer Aspire 7520-5185. The sound quality is quiet and tinny - not the "Dolby Digital Live" quality I was expecting. Has anyone got any help to improve the sound?

There isn't much space for decent transducers (speakers) in the case; few units have acceptable sound and volume.
There were once very compact external speakers on the market that fit with the 'portable' nature of laptops, I don't know what is now available; check it out.
