How do i turn on my ps2 but i already change the busted fuse to a new one?

It might not be the fuse,it must be its power cord or the plug you are using try that if it works on other plugs and if not, check the power cord(cable).

Newer PS2 have a high failure rate on the drives. Gears in drive are probably stripped or worn, try turning the PS2 on it's side or even upside down. But this is really just a band-aid if it works. The drive itself is busted..Try to go for a new driver

you have a busted fusible link. change the busted fuse.

Something inside the PS2 is busted so you might need to go to gamestop and get it fixed

yes its 100% lens problem.the lense of the ps2 consists of two parts,one is the one that reads the dvd disc and the other one that reads the cd-r only.the dvd reader is already busted that is why it only recognises only some cds which are cd-r's.try replacing the lens and you can play dvd discs again.hope this one helps

yes this is a 100% laser problem.the music cd that you play is not a dvd disc its a normal cd-r.the ps2 laser consist of 2 laser diode reader.the dvd section is already busted.so it needs a replacement

Hi, I had same problem, I just changed the fuse underneath mainboard, 3.15 Amp 120V If it doesn't work change this for 4AMP fuse

only reason i could figure out why it would be blowing fuses is that the circut you have your ps2 on is drawing to much power and the fuse can not handle thepower output see what you have plug in to that fuse look around your house see what eles turn off when the fuse blows and try to unplug one or more of them when you turn on your ps2

The special fuse inside the PlayStation unit is broken. If you need more info please advice.
