Make sure you are inserting the correct color cartridge versions for the Lexmark X1150 (either #26 or #27). Try to clean the cartridge nozzles. On your computer, open the Lexmark Solution Center, click Start > Programs > Lexmark X1100 Series > Lexmark X1100 Series Solution Center. From the Maintenance tab, click Clean to fix horizontal streaks. Your printer will then print a page that will help clean the nozzles from possible dirt and clogs. If that doesn't help, try to insert a different known working cartridge (e.g. your old cartridge or another new cartridge). It could be a faulty cartridge issue.
The 17 and 27 cartridges are compatible with your Lexmark X1150 printer. Try to manually wipe the cartridge nozzles with a soft moistened cloth. This will help clean the nozzles from dirts and clogs. Unplug and replug the printer into the power outlet in the wall to reset it. When the printer turns on, reinsert one cartridge first. Close the cover. If no error, open the cover and reinsert the other cartridge. Replace whichever cartridge is causing the error to appear. You can also try to insert a different known working cartridge to determine if the other is faulty.
Make sure the printer is on. Lift the scanner unit to access the cartridge area. The cartridge carrier will automatically move to the center at the loading position. Squeeze the tabs on the cartridge lids, and then lift the lids. Remove the used cartridges. (refer to sample image below. printer shown may not look like your printer, however, the steps are the same.)
Insert new cartridges. Color cartridge should be in the left carrier and the black in the right carrier. Snap the lid closed. Lift the scanner unit and push the scanner support back while
lowering the scanner unit until it is completely closed.
Sometimes the ink cartridge carrier won't position automatically to the middle even when the printer is on and the cover is open. Just unplug the printer from the power source. With the cover open, hold the solid white strip and gently slide the carrier to the middle of the printer. Load the cartridges. Close the cover. Plug the printer back to power source.
Thanks.
Put your printer "on", then open the central lid, where "lexmark z35" is written. The cartridges appear. Open the dark green lid (on the right), same color as your new cartridge. Remove the old cartridge and put the new one in, after removing the tap. Your printer should print a test page. If it doesn't, go to "printers" in the "control panel" (panneau de configuration in french !), right click on your printer name and chose "properties".
1 Make sure the printer is on. 2 Lift the scanner unit until the scanner support keeps it open. The print cartridge carrier moves and stops at the loading position. 3 Squeeze the tabs on the cartridge lids, and then lift the lids. 4 Remove the old cartridges. 5 Remove the stickers and transparent tape from the bottom of the cartridges. 6 Insert the new cartridge. Make sure the color print cartridge is secure in the left carrier and then snap the lid closed. If you are installing a black print cartridge, make sure that it is secure in the right carrier, and then snap the lid closed. 7 Lift the scanner unit and push the scanner support back while lowering the scanner unit until it is completely closed.
