Question about Nintendo DS Lite Console
No its not the brightness.
when i turn on the DS the green power light comes on.
but neither of the screens seem to respond (its like the power is not getting to them or somthing).
just wondering if you had any idea whats wrong?
This is a problem with the cpu on the systemboard. I've seen this problem many times if the DS Lite is felt to the ground. The contacts of the cpu are very fragile. The DS Lite turns on, green led available, even charche is working bot nothing else. Repair of this problem is almost impossible. The only thing you can do is send it to Nintendo.
You can test if it is the cpu by removing the bottom of the DS Lite and put the battery on te contacts.
Press firmly on slot 1 (the aluminium cover) and turn the DS Lite on. If you got a picture on the screens then you know it for sure. The cpu is located under slot 1 and by pressing on de top of the slot you are pressing possible loose contacts back on de systemboard.
If it is not working then the cpu is to musch damaged.
Let us know what you've found with this solution.
