Re: can't get pics from phone to computer??
Have you installed the software that came with the phone?
Once you've done that, pictures stored in phone memory should be visible in Windows Explorer under the heading of "Sony Ericsson File Manager" (which should be at the same level as "My Documents" and "My Computer"
Pictures stored on the memory card ought to be easier to get to: Regardless of whether the software which came with the phone is installed, once the USB cable is plugged into both pc and phone (with the phone turned on!) and left for a minute or so, the memory card should appear in "My Computer" as a new "removable disk" drive. Your photos will be a couple of layers down in this, in a folder underneath one called "DCIM"
Once you've found the pictures, you should be able to drag and drop them just like any other files.
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

Both devices are USB slaves. You need a USB master, such as a computer. If your computer has two free USB ports, you can connect both machines to the computer and simply drag-and-drop the pictures from one to the other,
If you only have one USB port, then connect the phone drag=and-drag the pictures to a temporary folder on your computer, then disconnect the phoe, connect the tablet, then drag-and-drop.
Because I run Linux on my computer I could not run the software that came with my KC910. I was able to transfer my pictures using a bluetooth connection but it seemed to take forever. I purchased a bluetooth connection device that just plugs into a USB port. What I do that works fine for me is to place my pictures on the SIM card and transfer them that way. Just get a USB SIM card reader and plug it into your computer. It will act just like another device and you can copy, edit or do whatever from there. Hope this helps.
You can transfer the pictures from your HTC Hero to your laptop using a USB cable.
First, make sure that you're phone is turn on. Connect the usb cable to the computer and to your HTC. Once you connected the phone & the computer, there will be a USB Connected option that will appear in your phone. Choose "mount." Open my computer and a new USB drive will appear. Open it and look for "DCIM" folder. Open that folder and open the folder named "100Media," that contains all the pictures from your camera.
there are many ways by which you can do so..
1>connect the phone with the computer using the usb cable that would be provided to you..
once you have done this then your phone and pc will get directly connected. then you can transfer te files easily...
2>remove the memory card from the phone and connect to the computer using the card reader if available with you..
I suggest you to choose the first method..it is simple and easy..
You should normally have a CD that comes along with the phone. You have to install this on your PC and use the software therein to transfer files. You can also download it from the Samsung website.
Alternatively, you can try the following workaround:
1. Plug in the mobile to the PC via the USB cable and ensure it is detected by the PC.
2. Right click START button and select Explore.
3. From the left panel, scroll to the drive letter corresponding to your phone. (It
will usually be located after the last DVD/CD ROM
4. Click on that drive to expand the folders in the right pane.
5. Search for the relevant pictures from a folder within that drive.
6. Copy the required pics (Hold down CTRL and click on pics in case you want to
select more than one pic). After selecting required pics, right click and chose "COPY".
7. Once you copied all the needed pics, select a folder on your computer (or
create a new one) and paste the pics into this folder.
8. You're done :)
Hope that helps! Should you have any further questions, please feel free to
