Taking MP3 player apart and putting it back together again.

I can't really tell by looking at the case, but if there is a "groove" that runs along the whole outside edge of it, then it's just a matter of putting a plastic knife or something small into this groove to "pop" the case open...are there any visible screws? then obviously those have to come out first...start with this and see how it goes....

I had my ipod shuffle in the washing machin

o man the same thing happend to my friend he gave it a lil time then it worked again he used a blow drier on it .......there is a better way to fix it you have to take it apart carefully and rub it down with alcohol then let in sit apart for a day the alcohol will evaporate taking any moisture with it then simply put it back together and see if it works if not you may need to buy a new ipod man

I have a Belkin iPod nano Tune Base which suddenly fell apart whilst being pulled out of the car cigarette lighter. I have managed to retrieve all the parts and put it together, however it still doesn't...

You would have to read the warranty on the product to know for sure if it is in fact, still under warranty. They could possibly tell you that because "you" broke it that it isnt a problem with the device itself. If it came apart that easily i'd call and complain. It may not be working because if the insides fell out some wires may not be attached anymore, or a vital peice of the chip inside of it got damaged somehow so i hope you don't talk to a rude person in tech support for it becuase i think that may be your only option.

No display.

Pull it apart, and put it back together again.
The connecter between the two main boards have have come lose.
If that does not work, it may be toast

It Broke!

I just took mine apart by prying it apart from where you connect it to the computer and then took out the 4 little screws on the green part and then took out the button from the other attached part then put it back together and then now I stick stuff down the hole to push the button.

2 gb ipod nano

you might need a special toolkit for it, but a sharp knife. and carefully open it.

sounds bad, if not dryed carefully its a goner.
Id take it apart and put it in a airthigh container filled with rise, keep it in there for a day or two then put back together.

If your lucky it will work
