Question about Brother MFC-640CW All-In-One InkJet Printer
Tried all the solutions that Brother gives and it doesn't help. Won't print
in black with Brother cartridge or generic cartridge.
What is the solution?
Many people with this problem most likely tried to use an ink refill kit thus resulting in this problem the reason being is the refill kits use a much lower quality ink thats realy not made for these type of printers thus either the print head or the tube running to the print head becomes clogged, While the cheaper soulution is to take the machine apart and try to unclog the tube or print head its probably better to just get a new machine as getting to the ink tubes and the print heads can be tricky at best, Another option to concider is get an empty black ink carterage and fill it with a mild paint thinner or rubbing alchol and try to print thus running the fluid through the tube and the print head this may clear the problem however you will want to give the alcohol or pait thinner time to dry a little prior to placing in a new ink carterage
