Replacing Black and Decker 18" lawn mower blade

I purchased a new fan and blade for my Black and Decker mower, but I can't figure out the right order to place the fan, blade and washers.  Where can I find a figure showing the orientation.

Try removing the blade. If the mower runs smooth, replace or balance it.
If not, the mower shaft may be bent. Did you hit something hard with the blade?

are you turning nut the right way ! on a lot of mowers, the nut turns off the opposite way the blade turns, to keep it tight. good-day ! Loosen the nut in the center of the blade with a wrench by turning the nut counterclockwise.

Most lawn mower mfgs offer a mulching kit which usually consists of a metal plate to block the discharge opening and a mulching blade which just has a longer sharpenned cutting edge.
With a little labor you can make your own.
