My original wii remote was working but now the lights dont come on i know the console is fine as my other remotes work fine can i repair my remote

Press a button on the Wii Remote, and if the lights blink, but don't stay on, then it might have a problem connecting to your Wii and you may have to re-sync it. If the lights do not come on at all, try changing the batteries to a completely new pair. If the lights still do not come on, part of the Wii Remote may be damaged and you may just have to use a different one.

My wii remotes are not working. i have changed the batteries. What can i do?

is there any lights coming on the remotes themselves. if the batteries have been left in the remotes too long without being used they have tendency to leak and corrode the inside terminals.
if this is not the case and the lights are coming on you will want to push the sync button on the back of the remote and the front sync button on the wii at the same time.
hopefully this will work for you.

I bought a third wii remote and separate battery and sync'd all my wii remotes... that all work with regular AA batteries, but none of them work with the rechargeable batteries. My original two remotes...

if your gonna use rechargale batteries especially for wii remote you'll have to buy really good ones because those **** $20.00 ones don't last for long and they probibly won't even work on those remotes so goodluck:) and please rate this solution...

Wii controllers not working, new batteries, but will not move on screen...

You need to synchronise the remotes. Take off the battery covers on the wii remotes and open up the flap on the front of the wii where you can put a memory card in. Press the red button that is above the memory card slot and at the same time press the red button that is above where the batteries go on each remote. The wii remotes should flash and eventually give a solid light on either the first or second led at the bottom of the wii remotes. When this happens both remotes are synced.

Remotes not synchronising

  1. Press the Power button on the Wii console to turn it on.
  2. Open the SD Card Slot cover on the front of the Wii console. Remove the battery cover on the back of the Wii Remote you wish to sync up.
  3. Press and release the SYNC button on the inside of the SD Card compartment on the console. Press and release the SYNC button just below the batteries on the Wii Remote.
  4. When the Player LED blinking stops, the syncing is complete. The LED that is illuminated indicates the player number (1 through 4).
