Re: Mikrotek eyestar US2 PC camera problem
disconnecting the Camera from the USB port and reinstall the CD or
Downloaded software program. When the program asks you to connect
the camera to the USB port, do so and it should work.
to use it on the Web do this. Web Camera’s have to be
setup on the program they are to be used with. Just installing the camera
on your computer does not set it up to broadcast on messengers or Skype.
Each program has Options that have to be setup in order for
the Audio and Video to function properly. A. Skype Setup:

Go to Tools,
then Options, and click on Audio Settings and set the Microphone
and Speakers to the computer Audio Card.
click on the Video Settings.

on the bottom of the page click on Save.
The camera and audio should function properly. Your
friends and Family will now be able to see and her to you. B. Yahoo Setup:

Messenger at the top left and click on it.
go down to Preferences and click on it.
Calling and Devices on the right and set the Microphone and Speakers to
the computer Audio Card.
go to the Test Audio section and (in blue writing) click on
“Open the call setup assistant” and follow the instructions on the left
C. Windows Live Messenger:
you start Windows Live Messenger, expand the view by clicking on the square
on top left next to the red X.
on the Windows Live messenger window on the right side, click on “ “Show
Menus.” And then click on “Show the Menu Bar”.

using the USB to connect the gps is for transferring files and updates, you will not see the map while using the usb connection.... you can charge the unit this way but it may take 3 to 4 hours to fully charge..
to connect to computer.... Turn the gps Off.... connect the USB cable to computer... the computer will then dedect new hardware (usb) a pop up box will appear
plug in your gps to your computer using the USB cable...( if a usb cable didnt come with your unit, ts the same usb cables cameras use to connect to computers ) your computer with dedect new hardware (usb) minimise the pop up box
go to www.MyGarmin.com this site will also dedect your unit, it will tell you to Register it ( free ) and tell you to download WebUpDater utility to transfer maps....
it will then let your inlock the proper maps and firmware..
the first thing that pops up in my mind is a power problem. check if the hard disk starts making a 'spinning' noise when you plug in the power chord and turn the disk on. when you hear a ticking noise instead, it means the disk is broken. be sure it only makes the spinning noise. if it does, connect the usb-cable between the disk and the computer. if the disk is not recognised, replace the cable. if still not ok, post what you did as a comment, and please be as accurate as possible, because this problem may have several causes.
Make sure the camera is on and pc is selected on the camera screen when connected to the computer. You will need to have PC highlighted and select ok on the camera as this starts the camera and computer to communicate. Once communication established the LCD screen of the camera goes dark and the computer should generate a removable disk drive. Check the System Tray (lower right corner beside the PC time) for Safely Remove Hardware. When you click on it, it should read "Safely Remove USB Mass Storage Device Drive ?:" If you dont see that, then check the Device Manager to see if the camera is recognized as USB Mass Storage Device. The camera uses the driver usbstor.
The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.
Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program such as Picasa.
if other IM like yahoo have the possibility to ofer someone an invite to view webcam ...this isnt possible in msn ..the only way you can do thet is when you click video call ...and this is available when both are using the msn program installed into the pc...and a new version ...if one is using a web related chat this became impossibe ...so ...take a good look and see if you have the button for audio video call..should be 4th from the left of the messeging window...it looks like a calling device ..with a film band on ...you may need to upgrade to a new version if you do not have such a button ...as long as in is working on other IM mean that the problems is on msn instalation
pls remove the hard disk from enclouser and plug direct to sata port and check if run well.
if not pls check with bios detection, if enclouser is good and hard is bad, there was no detection with usb port.
If the cam is from china is probable that you don't find it.
But you can use another driver camera
put the cd in the computer but don't run it.
connect you cam usb cable.
wait for the auto dedection.
follow the steps (chose auto install)
chose continue for security message.
if all the setups is good, it's ok ;)
try it by msn
