Check for a post error in the bottom right of the display. It will be 2 letters or numbers. You can refer to the manual to see what the exact issue is:
Super Micro Computer Inc Products Motherboards Core 2 Boards C2SBX

However, the most likely culprit is RAM. I would try booting with 1 stick (and try all 4 dim slots) to see isolate the issue.

I want to reboot my aspire 5270? but i do not remember the key wchich shoul i press.. let u know me the key?

Tap F8 during the Acer Splash screen, that will give you the multi-boot screen, and you can pick how you want the laptop to boot. Some systems it is the delete key and others it is the escape.

What can i do for my laptop, when i turn it on the XP splash screen displays, and then it just goes blank, no cursor, but it is still running

try booting into safe mode. hit the f8 key during bootup to get that option and see if safe mode works fine. If it does, then the problem is a bad or corrupt video driver. The display itself could be going bad, also, but that seems less likely if you can see the splash screen every time. If you cant boot into safe mode, you may have corrupt OS and need to do a repair install.

I have an IBM R40- I bought it off of Craigslist and had very few problems until one day- I tried to start it but after the initial IBM main screen it goes to a black screen and briefly shows a couple of...

If you are unable to boot into safe mode by tapping F8 during the IBM splash screen then you will need a windows Install disc to boot off of and fix your boot command. If you don't have a disc then try to borrow a friends, you need to boot off that disc do that you can get to the recovery console and fix your boot menu.

During boot up, screen goes directly to windows screen....it does not display F2 or F12 to enter setup or F11 to do system recovery. How do I get this screen to show up?

In the bios boot some OEMs set it to show the splash screen instead of the "Press F2..." to see this screen press esc when you see the manufacturers logo.
