Furst, put it in the phone and format it. It will create the My Music folder, along with others.
Now remove it from the phone and put it in your PC. You should see the folders and all you have to do is drag your MP3 files to the My Music folder. When you're finished, put it back in your cell and it will read the music files in the My Music folder.

Doesn't show mp3 files on micro sd card

You have to drag and drop only the MP3 files into the music folder. If you have them organized and in folder by artist, drag only the MP3s into the card's Music folder.

I just bought this SanDisk From walmart for 24.95$, and it comes with a SanDisk adapter and a little one that fits into the Motorola phone. I just bought a Moto Actv cellphone and I was waiting to put...

If you aren't having luck accessing the mem card from your computer when it is in your phone using the USB cable, try moving the songs directly to the mem card with a card reader (most laptops now have a card reader slot built in) or a reader can be purchased fairly cheap too. The MP3 files must not be encrypted/copywrite file, and they must be stored in the proper "folders" (directory structure) on the mem card for your phone to locate them. You should have (or create) a folder called "mobile" on the card. All other folders will go in this "mobile" folder. MP3 or ACC files must be in another folder (within the "mobile" folder). Name this folder "audio" ... an MP3 cannot have a bitrate higher than 128kbps.
--hope this helps...good luck!

How do i put music on my motorola ve240?

Its seems that the format of songs that you are copying in your memory card in not supported by your mobile, your mobile only support MP3, AAC, AAC+, AMR, MIDI

it might be possible that your are copying MP4 files which will not run on your mobile....

So, please try to use the MP3, AAC, AAC+, AMR, MIDI files only

I bought a micro sd card for my phone and added music to it from windows media player and it sychronized and it used up memory on the card, i plugged it into my phone and it said there was no music on it...

I did the same thing, but when mine said no music, I formatted the card from my cell phone. It added 4 folders, My Music being one of them. Then I put my mp3 files in that folder and the cell found them.

I recently dropped Music and photo's onto a SanDisk micro SD card. All was fine, but the next morning, my Samsung Soul was not recognising the memory card. Nor was my home pc able to read the card either....

There are some people out there with "retrievers". I believe that its a hardware that retrieves data from broken hardware. Ask the locals around.
