Not getting image on lcd

-   I have Sony DSC-T1 compact digital camera. I haven't used it for almost a year. LCD screen is just black in all mode setting (video, camera, view photo). I can turn on the camera, can take picture, can view but all just showing black on LCD.

However, screen text are visible on the LCD screen like battery life, number of photos, time and date, camera settings etc.

I tried to reset the camera by pressing the reset button but it did not solve the problem.

I read the manual but my camera problem does not match any troubleshooting provided in the manual.

I appreciate if someone could help me fix it the DIY method or before going to a Sony servicing shop. -   vangieski

-   no picture on LCD screen when camera turned on. I changed memory and battery-   jcmart

-   my camera is getting no image on lcd and when i download the videos to the computer they dont show up on it either.-   Guest
