Messed up screen horizontal lines

Keep in mind that active mobile phones can interfere with the Philips CD/MP3 players function.

Try to reset your player by ridding it of electrostatic discharge: Disconnect power or remove batteries for a few seconds

I don't know your model number so I could not research it further. Go to the Philips support site and put your model number in, from there you can look up downloads of firmware if available and also downloading the manual to troubleshoot. Here is the support site:

The disc is stuck up in dvd player how can i open it up to remove the disc thanks

Remove DVD player from the mains. Look for the slotted opening covered with plastic cover at the bottom front, which can be opened easily by hand without much force. After opening it put a small flat screwdriver (locate the stud inside) & move it so that the tray will just open. Then pull the tray & remove your CD.

I don't have the installation cd's for my philips gogear hdd1830

You must use Windows Media Player 10 to transfer and delete music - the newest version, Windows Media Player 11, will not work with the Philips HDD Series of GoGear.

You can get all necessary software by going to:
www.usasupport.philips.com
Enter in your exact model #
Click on the link for your exact model #
Click on the Software & Drivers section

MY philips go gear 2gb music player does not getting on.

Run a Repair in Philips Device Manager - the program came on the installation CD.

If that fails the first time: Unplug the GoGear from the PC. Uninstall all Philips software in the Add/Remove Programs section of Control Panel. Restart your computer and reinstall the software. Replug the GoGear. Re-run the Repair.

Good luck!
