Question about Kenmore 23913 Progressive PowerMate Bagged Canister Vacuum
I was wondering if anyone can help me. I would like to replace the cord assembly on my progressive 116. When I took to Vac store it was going to cost about $80.00 to fix and I think that if I could get into the thing I could replace it myself. Can someone please advise how to open the housing? I only see two screws and they are inside near the bag. I have unscrewed those, but it is still attached somehow. Can someone please help me?
There are four screws, two at the front and two at the back under the step bar that rewinds the cord. It lifts off from the bottom. Be careful not to snap off the tabs.
