KF-50WE610 screen sizing problem

I purchased the KF-50WE610 a couple months ago at bestbuy, having my DVD hooked up to video 5 with component cables. Yesterday I went and got an HD cable box from Time Warner, it's a Pioneer connected into Video 6 with component cables. But i'm unable to change the aspect ratio and screen sizing in Video 6. I'm still able to cycle through the sizes in video 1-5, 7. Video 6 will only show "FULL" mode, but it will still cycle through Vivid, Standard, Pro picture settings. Even with the HD box turned off it still will not change from full.

ApprenticeMany cable boxes are never truly off. When you think you've turned it off, it's really just sending a blank signal. If your 'Video 6' label (or whatever you renamed it to) disappears after a few seconds, that means the TV is receiving a signal. Try unplug

Your HD cable receiver is configured to provide a 720p or 1080i output, regardless of the channel. You need to access the configuration menu and see if there are other options, such as 4:3 Override (a feature provided in the Motorola DCT5100 and above HD cable receivers). If such an option exists, select 480i. This option switches the output to 480i on non-HD channels, allowing you to use the WIDE MODE feature. You still will not be able to use the WIDE MODE when viewing HDTV channels.
