Question about Panasonic TX-32LXD1 32 in. LCD Television
Hi, my tv seems to be stuck on standby. The screen won't come on when I use the remote as it usually would, and when I use the box- it comes on for about 2 seconds, clicks a few times then turns itself off. Oh and when its on standby, the red dot flashes every 3 seconds. Any ideas?
a 6ya Technician can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

SOURCE: Panasonic viera problem
I have the same problem. Panasonic troubleshooting says to unplug it and replug in a different outlet.
I tried but it did not work.
But this advice may be the best. http://stafford.typepad.com/the_next_america/2004/02/panasonic_plasm.html
It is saying that the TV may be protecting itself if there is an ungrounded plug. Test your plugs before you go on. Best thing is to get one of the simple three prong plugs with the lights on it that tells you the state of your electrical circuit

Lay the tv face down on a flat surface. Do not scratch the screen ! Use a cloth.
Remove the 4 screws above the stand. Pull stand out. Replace screws.
You can get Operating Instructions from;
enter the model number- click search- and download the Operating Instructions . The Operating Instructions will illustrate the stand.
