Hi. After looking at the specs of your tower, the Celeron cpu you have runs at a slow 533 MHz FSB speed and is a single core processor. The good news is that your motherboard is designed to handle an intel Pentium D Dual Core CPU 900 series. Your motherboard uses a type Socket T plug (CPU Plug type). The processors name is The Pentium D 920. Have Fun.
Many users while playing a game on there computer seem to notice that it slows down at random times throughout game-play, This common on most computer as users seem to forget about other applications running on there computer.
If your CPU is not fast enough and you are running many applications while your game is running you will notice the game isn't responding as fast as it should, The best way to solve this is disable all programs which you are not using including MSN messenger and any browser or File sharing/Torrent Application.
Also make sure your anti-virus is configured not to scan automatically otherwise it may start scanning while you are in game and cause dramatic lag, Most anti-virus's will provide an gamers profile which you can activate to prevent certain anti-virus features while you are playing your game.
It seems that your OS has registry problem because when you play the game corrupt registry entries damage your system May be Game is not compatible with your computer Or lagging is due to number of background running applications So I will suggest you to simply get the Intel software partner Reginout to fix all the registry issues and errors which are causing your game movement slow Best of luck
I'm pretty sure that the problem is because you do not have a good graphics card but are just using the on-board graphics from your 'new' computer. If you buy a decent graphics card to put into your desktop then you might be able to run the game.
The problem arises from the game itself and it's particular graphics requirements.
You are right when you say it's really slow when you play games online, 1. The Game server is accessing by you through wires and network devices, so this makes the games slow. If the game is installed in your pc, there's should be no speed problem, 2. Network bandwidth will be accumulated by the game when you run the program, so don't take tension,... we are facing the same problem and it's just normal. There's nothing different. Good luck
if you keep reset on to your CPU this will affect to your Hard Drive. When your online games WOW very lag then do not let that online game on play to your Computer. You know or maybe your Computer are not enough to run this game. Check all the plug in play device which are capable to run this game. Your VGA Compatibility e.i AGP or PCI-E, Memory speed e.i DD1, DD2 & DDR3 and mostly Games Accelerator Programs. Hope this tip might help you. Good luck!
Many of the newer machines for sale now unfortunatly do not include a seperate and powerful video card. The machine comes with an internal video card that shares the machine's memory for video loads; iy is built into the motherboard to reduce the selling price. Many of the current games out there require a very large amount of video power and these onboard video MB's just can't keep up with the software and the game slows to a crawl or fails to work at all. All games sold retail come a minimum requirements list. Make sure you PC has all the requirements the software needs to run. Remember this is a minumum list and this is NOT the best hardware to make the game run well. Games today for the most part require a huge amount of power to run favorably and these sale machines usually don't cut the mustard. Check that the CPU is fast and you have at least 1 to 2 GB of memory installed. Check to see if you have a video slot available to install a decent video card. If it does'nt forget the whole thing a get another PC built to play games on it. If yes, install one immediatly and a good one should cost around $150 or so. The machine's manual should tell you if you can or not. These can be expensive however, so pray the machine you have will take a videocard and good luck.
the problem is not with your mouse or keyboard but with your system itself. vista is very intensive in eating up your memory resources. try to disable some program like aero or other features of vista which will slow down your computer. how big is your memory both internal and video?
