Question about Bissell Powersteamer 1694 Upright Vacuum

Bissell power washer 1694 shampooer

Hi,i cant get help any where,my shampooer wont spray water out of the bottem and out of the tools,had new water pump and pump belt fitted ,checked tubes they look fine,can any body please help

First off is the gasket on the bottom of the tank vavle or sitting in the hole. It has to be on the bucket. May have a problem with the handle not pushing the valve (in the handle)open when you squeeze the trigger. Check the back end of the top cover to make sure it hasn't broken loose from the base, if it has, that raises the top so water won't dispense from the tank. The draw back is that Bissell has obsoleted some parts for this model.

Please check these:

• tanks are not sealed into receivers
• faulty auto load receiver
• pinched/clogged line
• defective component allowing air into system
• pump not mounted so it can move freely
• defective bridge rectifier
• clogged heater
• defective pump
• defective circuit board
* spray nozzles are clogged

mine rotates but not smooth...as the part on one side of the roller brush seems to be broken

There is a lint screen, but not really another filter per say. But you may have a stretched pump belt. Here is a link to your manual at the manufacture's web site. When you look in this manual, on page 11 you will see the common wear parts on your machine... it's a good idea to have extra belts around incase you are having now.
