Question about Saeco Vienna Espresso Machine
I just replaced my brew drives gear wheels on my Vienna.
Long story short....when I put the machine back together the black wire on the bottom of the boiler accidentally bent and touched the boiler, and arc'd causing the outlet to short.
After I realized what had hapened, I took the machin apart....and straightened it out, and reassembled.
Now when I turn on the machine......the brew group does not cycle test or reset....and the red bean light is flashing (with or without beans in hopper).
So I dont know if I did something wrong with the brew gear change or if the power arc caused damage to the board or othe components.
The boiler is heating...........water still flows through the wand.
The machine is 5 years old, and I am living in Japan, and dont wish to spend alot to repair. If its too costly.....maybe recommend areplacement??
I have found that "Eddie" at the Saeco dealer at 7905 Cochran Road, suite 100, Glenwillow OH 44139 with telephone of 440-528-2000 or Fax at 440-542-9173 can fix or answer most everything and he has the repair parts if needed. He can provide a parts diagram to help you too but it is in Italian. Be careful though, he likes to "chin" on the phone because he wants to help..He has solved a number of my problems with my neat Saeco Vienna Deluxe that has kept it running and out of the shop..Hope this helps.
