The only way to corret the problem is to replase the fixing unit... That is what the L4 is refering to. It is not reading the correct tempurture..

My sharp ar-5320 copier is giving h and 4 alternatively

A H4 is a error code for the fuser unit is not warming up in time. Odds are the fuser heater lamp needs to be replaced > it is most likely blown or looks like a candy cane. You have to replaced the part before the code will clear. It could also be the thermal fuse or the thirmister.... I would look at the fuser heater lamp... Good Luck

Sharp AR-5320 B & W Copier giving L 4 error msg alternatly

L4 is main motor drive overload. It could be a power problem going on with the copier. Are these copiers plugged into surge protectors?

If you can have a Sharp technician look at it, it would be a good idea to determine if the motor, power supply, or main board is the culprit.

Sharp AR-5320 giving me L 4 error some time

Usually the error is caused by a main drive over load. The machine needs to be looked to determine if its the motor, power supply, or a board.

My Sharp Copier AR-5320 print black and white horizontal parallel lines on the documents.

Check for scratches on the drum surface. If you have ran a lot of copies on there, its a good time to get it serviced. It could be the cleaning blade on the drum as well.

Error code

Hi, H4 is a heater error. Try resetting it by the following; Enter #, interupt, Clear, interupt, display goes dead, enter 14 then print. That will clear the error code, however if you have a problem with the heater it will return. It is probably the thermal fuse has tripped, which is resetable by removing the fuser unit
