Question about Harley Davidson Harley-Davidson Motorcycle Desktop Telephone

1 Answer

Ok, hopefully someone can help me. I own a 2006 Vento Phantera 150 CC bike. It only has 930 miles on it. Over the last few days I have noticed it sounds pretty loud. Normally I would think that adjusting the carb would help. Except it is Fuel Injected & has no Carb. Anyone have any suggestions?

HI WHERE CAN I BUY PARTS FOR THE 2006 VENTO V THUNDER ?

Hello Jr, Vento parts are getting harder to find. Here are a couple of links for suppliers that still carries a few Vento parts. Also, check ebay for parts.

Depending on what country you are in, you can try contacting Vento.
I hope this information is helpful.

My engine just stopped running. There is no fuel pressure. I took the fuel pump apart and the diaphragms appear to be good. There is a line that goes to the fuel pump marked "P" . It comes from...

Hi, Wiley the following is a systematic procedure for diagnosing fuel pump issues designed to keep "DRACHMA" to a minimum. If you need parts check with Amazon and eBay first to keep costs down.
1. If your pump does not turn on check the pump fuse and relay and all wiring including connectors for corroded, broken, or loose pins/sockets.
1. Normal fuel pump pressure is 3-5 PSI.
2. Check any rubber or plastic tubing for age-related pinholes by removing and plugging the ends that connect to the fuel valve and then turn on the ignition switch and watch for fuel streams exiting the pinholes, if any exist, replace tubing as necessary.
3. Check for a clogged a primary fuel filter that comes off the bottom of the pump to screen out big rocks and clean as necessary.
4. Check for a clogged secondary fuel filter that's outside if applicable by removing it from the system and replace it with a short splicing tube turn on the ignition switch and recheck fuel pressure if pressure increases to normal pressure you need a new secondary filter.
5. If all the above check out OK and the pump is not functioning properly then you need a new fuel pump.

I have a 2006 vento 150 cc scooter 48 miles on it and hasn't been started in 3 years Q - DOES IT A SPARK PLUG TO CHANGE Q- SHOULD I DRAIN THE FUEL OUT AND IS IT USEABLE IN THE MOWER OR WEED EATER

hi.
if it has not been started in 3 years then a new spark plug would probably be a good idea, but not essential if the old one is cleaned.
3 year old fuel should be drained and is pretty much no use for anything. you may be able to start a bonfire with it, but i would not even try to run a machine on it after 3 years.
it would also be a good idea to change the oil and clean the air filter. the battery will almost certainly need changing as well.
there should not be any major problems though.
hope this helps

2006 F-150 Bad Brakes

I had a simailar problem with my 2006 F-150 Brakes and this was after bringing it in for the recall mentioned above ( Recall 08505) The brakes were good until I had about 34K miles and then one day
the brakes started to grind and screach when applying brakes at low speed. As the above reader had stated, No warning! I do not understand in a day of high technology that ford does not have a senson that indicated your brake pads have worn out. This truck has been a pain in the 2 years of ownership, it has been in the service department for a transmisssion problem ( 4x4 Transfer motor replaced)
power stearing pump replaced and the recall, now the brake issue. Now I know why more guys are going to Toyota or Nissan Full Size Trucks. This is my last Ford Truck!
