If you leave it long enough does it boot ?
press F2 and go through the settings and check for something like "display boot menu" or similiar.

remember to save your settings upon exiting

Not showing a list of available network s

this could be caused my a multitude of things. 1st, examine the laptop and make sure there isn't a physical hardware switch to turn the wifi on and off. 2nd, click start and click control panel and then click system, then device manager; expand the + and make sure that the wireless adapter is being recognized by windows. if it's not you may want to visit the toshiba website and download the appropriate drivers. If it is being recognized make sure it's not disabled. 3rd, Make sure there isn't a function key to turn the wifi off and on, usually fcn f8 i believe. If none of that is the issue, reboot the laptop and tap whatever key it says to enter bios or setup. once you are in that screen look for the area where it says 'onboard devices' and make sure that the wireless nic is enabled. good luck!

This Will Completely Solve your Prob; if there is no any internal Hardware Problems with Quick Lunch Buttons

(I feel there is no any coz u mention about Ding Sound. That mean your system is recognizing your key input & all you need is Just program those keys – above setup will do that)

** If you didn’t solve your prob; my advice is take your lap to a good technician with component level Repair skills.

Thank you & Best Regards

Problem with the modem

You shhould be able to right click on it in device manager and select enable, or press F2 or Del on boot up and enter the bios and look in the menu for your modem and select enable. If non of above work, right click again on your medem in device manager and select delete. Restart the laptop and let windows find your modem and it should automatically install the driver, if not when the option window pops up to manually install driver, point windows to the cdrom that the drivers are located on.
