    Jeocities, sorry for delay in replying - health isues. Unfortunately this isn't a mobile phone issue; it is a fixed line phone BT Easicom 1000 which belongs to my uncle. He has had it for sometime but decided to play with it when he couldn't sleep! Thank you anyway.

Breaking Nokia 1616-2 master code
Destroying forgotten passcode for nokia 1616. You can use *#7370# for hard reset. Dial this code then send and after that your phones will request you to enter code then input 12345 and ur code will change to 12345 or you can use *#7380# as soft reset.

Forgotten security code
You could try inputting random codes until it asks you for a PUK code.
Then you'll need to call your carriers help line and ask the representative for the PUK code. (You should have a pen and paper with you for this)
Then enter the codes you've been given, and that should reset the security code, allowing you to use the phone normally.

Have you tried inputting all zeros for the master code (00000) I think it is 5 - 0's but it might be 6 (000000) I think this is a master code. Give it a try..
