Question about Nokia 3220
I have a CA-42. I installed the driversoftware of the CD that got along with the cable. But my phone PC (Windows XP) does not recognise it
Make sure you install the CD before plugging in the phone. The PC may recognize the phone as a modem in which you may have to delete the previous installed driver.
Press start button.
Click on "Control Panel"
"Performance and Maintenance"
"Show hidden devices"
Now open the modem subfile location and delete the phone driver from there.
Make sure your phone is disconnected.
Close the Device Manager window and put in your software CD.
When and if it asks you to plug in the phone do so.
There, the phone should be working to order.

best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
