Re: 2 discs stuck inside!
Remove the 4 or 6 screws on the cover (they are located two on each side and probably one to three and the back side) rember to unplug it before from the electricity. Carefully try to reach the trail and gentle remove the dvds manually from the inside.

This fault can be caused by a second CD having been forced into the drive somehow. Shine a torch into the slot to check. A friend of mine had 3 CDs stuffed into the drive by his toddler! Unfortunately the drive did not survive.
I fixed the same issue by forcibly pulling individual trays to their open position. I removed the casing to gain better access (tons of screws) but you can probably gain clear access to the shelfs without removing the casing if you have good needlenose plyers. I found a stuck CD within one of shelfs, wedged WITHIN the moving components of the shelf. It works perfectly now.
Disk turntable motors will collect tarnish on armature contacts if not used for long periods. If you are experienced in electronics, I could walk you through a fix. If you are not, please take unit for service
Try a lens cleaner cd, as when the lens gets misaligned or if it's quite old, it will find it harder to read a DVD as the tracks are much closer together than that of a VCD as they are cd's and their tracks are wider apart and easier to read.
I know this is an old post but I saw it through google, because I had the same problem.
I ended up tearing the CD door off and was able to look in and see that one of the cds was stuck. The player was trying to play disc 1 but had pulled disc 2 in under neith and it was stuck, causing the issue. As soon as I pulled disc 2 out the system works great.
