Question about Computers & Internet
The problem might be with your DVD drive.
First make sure that your drive has been given enough power from the SMPS of your computer.
If your computer has higher end graphic cards or dual/quad core processors or more number of drives, maximum power will be consumed by them.
If the drive is not getting enough power , there is 90% chance of failure in the wrting of the DVD.
So, try replacing your SMPS with the higher voltage SMPS so that your drive gets enough power.
IF you are sure that power is not the problem for your drive, then the dvd laser present inside your drive need to be serviced or replaced. For that you have to contact the service center.
Hope my info is useful.
