Check the bulbs. If one is burned out, you will get this problem. The bulb is easy to change but will run you about $300.

I had dish satelight install on my TV. It worked well for two days, then the picture started showing in a square box. I ffixed the convergence and it seemed okay. What is the code for a Curtis Mathis TV for a universal remote control

I own a One-for-All universal remote, and my booklet says that the setup code for a Curtis Mathes TV ( without a built-in DVD or VCR) is one of the following numbers: 0030, 0047, 0054, 0060, 0093, 0145, 0154, 0166, 0451, 0702. I can not guarantee that these numbers will work with your remote, but it is worth a try.

Adjusting curtis mathes projection tv model fp4600ek02

Hi,
If this tv is more than 10 years old, I would say the three projection tubes are getting weak.
This may be a good time to invest in a new tv.
considering the difficulty of obtaining parts for it and the other problems you could have in the near future, it would be cheaper to replace the tv.
If the tv is not that old, please let me know the model number for more assistance.

Off Air?

The Scientific Atlanta box was a cable box and recieved CATV signals. The Direct TV box is satellite only. You might check if it has a built in ATSC tuner for off air digital signals. Direct TV in most locations offers the major networks in HD format.
