If the turntable has a two-piece platter, Lift off the outer platter and place the belt around the inner platter and motor pulley.

If the turntable has a one-piece platter, lift off the whole patter, place the belt around the inner drum. There will be a hole in the platter's top through which you can reach a finger to stretch the belt so that the belt can be placed around the motor pulley as you put the platter back in place.

How to put the belt on aiwa stereo full automatic turntable px e855

Lift off the rubber cover. On some turntables, you can pull the whole metal platter straight-up now. Put the belt on the outside of the bottom of the platter and drop platter back into the turntable base. Do NOT put the rubber cover back on yet. There should be one or two openings in the platter where you can see the pulley for the motor. Slowly rotate the turntable platter until the opening is over the top of the motor pulley. Now use a nail file to gently pull the rubber belt over the pulley. It should spin freely now. Now put the rubber cover back on and try it out. Belts are available from MCM Electronics and over online vendors. Let me know how it goes. Good luck.

1. Select the lowest FM frequency you want manually. You should hear it.
2. Press MEMORY followed by preset one.
3. Repeat the process for the remaining frequencies and buttons.

If you don't hear anything when you tune manually, the frequencies are not being received with enough strength. There could be an antenna problem.

My drive belt came off i do not know how to put it back on please help! I have a Denon - Fully Automatic Turntable System - DP-29F It doesn't give me much help in the instructions on how to put it back on.

1. Remove the rubber disc from the metal platter.
2. Remove the metal platter by pulling straight up.
3. Ignore the player for the moment; focus on the platter.
4. On the underside of the platter is a circle about 2 inches smaller than the platter; stretch the belt around that inner circle. Make sure it is not twisted.
5. Put the platter back on the player. Rotate the platter so that one of the rectangular holes reveals the drive wheel.
6. Stretch the belt so that it goes around the drive wheel (I used a pencil but tweezers would likely work well).
7. Replace the rubber disc.

I have a turntable...an Music Hall MMf5 that I bought for my husband. i dont know how to connect it up to speakers so that we can actually use it...can someone help???

If it has RCA jacks (white and red jacks) coming from the unit it needs to be connected to the inputs of a stereo amplifier of receiver to produce sound. Most AM/FM receivers have inputs for phono in back. Just plug the cords into the inputs for phono and put your selection knob on your stereo to the phono setting.

I need an illustration to install a drive belt for Panasonic SL-N15 model. This is a linear tracking turntable. I purchased a belt from a website - it is not a Panasonic, but they claim it will fit my...

That's right.

Here are some in-depth instructions.
Turntable-belts generally go from the spindle motor to the underside of the platter. The platter, or table tray, is the metallic structure which supports the record. After taking the platter off the turntable, a pretty self-explanatory process, look for the only large, circular "lip" on the platter's backside and wrap your belt around it. Make sure the band is flat, not twisted. Put the platter back in its original place and, working through one of the holes in the platter, pull the turntable belt to the far side of the spindle motor.

I hope this helps.

Turntable will not turn (spin)

It would appear this is a belt drive turntable - here's a link to a site where you can order a replacement, although you may be able to find a cheaper one.

Drive belt on Sony turntable

Usually, for most turntables, the belt goes on the bottom of the platter first. Then you put the platter back on the turntable. From here you should see an opening on the platter where you can 'grab' the belt. Pinch the belt, and then wrap it around the rotating motor's shaft. This is usually at the top left side - around the 10 o'clock position.

Sounds like the belt broke off, if so, you must replace the belt with the proper replacement belt. If it is a Quartz Lock system, it will be very pricey to fix. If so, it's best you take it to a professional if it is a Quartz Lock system, they are very delicate systems and require careful repair.

Hope this helps!
