How to finalize a dvd without the remote control

You can stop the recorder by pressing power button to standby mode. Don't unplug the power from the electric source.

Easy. Just let it record til disc is full as almost all recorders auto finalize.

Well without knowing what your brand of dvd burner you're using, I have an Emersion dvd burner and you go into Setup on the remote control, then go into Edit DVD then there you will have several options, with one of them being Finalize DVD. Hope it helps

Yes you can't finalize without a remote.These units use a RM 51 remote.You can find one ebay or you can get a new one at Litetrekinternational.

You have to finalize the disc before it will play on anything else..
