My mp3 worked great for about a month. Now it rarely lets me put songs onto it and the last time it did, it also automatically erased 63 songs that I wanted to keep! Most of the time though, it just says there is no device detected. What can I do? It's very frustrating and I'm about ready to return it. (It won't even let me charge it on the computer any more. I had to buy a plug charger.)

I own the black 2G Clip and my computer makes a noise when I plug it in or unplug it, but I can no longer use Windows Media Player to Sync the files to the device bc My Computer does not show the device and I really cannot find any way of locating the SanDisk player in a window where I can drag and drop the files I want. It does charge when plugged in but that's about all it does. This is the second one I have owned bc the first one just freaked out on me and froze up. I'm getting an iPod.

I know this is only part of the solution:
- turn off your sansa clip
- put the slide button on hold
- press the centered button while connecting the sansa clip to your pc
the sansa clip will now be visible as a removable disk under 'my computer' :-)

I don't yet know how to proceed from here on

This means that there is a short detected on one of the amp outputs. Try disconnecting the speakers from the back of the unit and power on. If fault still persists then likely you have a bad output ic or FET (transistor). If fault goes away after removing speakers then plug them in one by one to see which is the culprit.

I want to download certain songs to my new Ipod shuffle. I do not want to download everthing Is there a way to choose which songs you want to put on your ipod?

The only songs you can download have to come from the iTunes store. Set up an account with a credit card, and you can order single songs, albums or videos, plus some free content. Some albums are sold as whole albums, but that is not the norm.

If you have music on your computer, you can download iTunes to it, and try and drag tracks by having the iTunes window open to your iPod, and the other pane open to your music. Highlight and Right Click Drag - Copy here.

The legit way is to pay Apple $38 to allow you to put non iTunes music on their device.

How do I delete music off of a coby mp829 player

I don't have this particular device. Although some players will let you delete files from the device alone, some won't. But an mp3 player should show up on your desktop computer as an external memory storage device when connected via USB. You can open it and delete music files by dragging to trash, or by right-clicking and selecting Delete. (Windows, but probably similar on Mac).

Hi I have an apple ipod model A1285 I loaded music but i cant play it. The play list shows 0. Can you please assist.

may want to check the library in iTunes to make sure the files are there on your hard drive and on your iPod if the problem persists clear your library and make iTunes find your music in your hard drive again and try placing the music onto the device once more

Just one button wont work

That could be a software glitch with the Ipod not recognizing the button when in use.

Here is a clause on Motorolas website about it:

Loss of signal

The receptor in the Logitech MP3 Wireless and Ipod wireless headphones is located in the right speaker of the headphones, so place your player in a pocket in the right side of your coat.
