Charging problems. When I am charging it with the power cord, the computer will go in and out of charging. I think the problem might be the cord.

I have the IQ 4522DJBT bluetooth speaker and i am having trouble charging my unit how do you know when its your power cord.

  1. Check the power cord for visible damage: Look for any frayed wires, cuts, or broken connections. If you find any damage, the power cord will need to be replaced.
  2. Try a different power source: Plug the speaker into a different outlet or power source to see if the issue is with the outlet.
  3. Use a different power cord: Try using a different power cord to see if the issue is with the cord that came with the speaker.
  4. Check the charging port: Make sure the charging port on the speaker is not damaged or obstructed. Clean it if necessary.
If these steps do not resolve the issue, the problem may be with the speaker itself and it may need to be repaired or replaced

Samsung R480 Will not charge or turn on but indicator lights flash or stay on.

Swap out the ram one at a time testing to see if you can power up, making sure there is one in the memory slot at all times, if this works the piece in your hand is defective, no difference! the motherboard has major issues.

Asus UL50VT always shows charging

Either your battery or the power cord has an issue. Does the battery ever fully charge and make the charging light disappear or turn green? If not the battery could be bad.

Try running the computer off the battery by removing the power cord. if the battery starts losing charging strength real quick then your battery is bad. I've see bad batteries that say they are 100% charged but as soon as you remove the power cord it gets down to 5% i a matter of minutes.

Try running the computer on just the power cord. If it stays on and lets you operate without any problem then the power cord is good. A good power cord will not charge a bad battery.

If the laptop does not let you stay on long with the power cord, then either the power cord is bad or the DC Power Jack where the power cord plugs into the laptop is bad. If either of them is bad they will not charge a good battery.

Check your DC Power Jack which is where the power cord plugs into the computer is bad. Take an ink pen and push the tip inside the jack and see if the little pin wiggles, if so the jack is bad. You'll have to take the laptop apart to fix it. Most times it is soldered onto the motherboard, so you will have to desolder the old and solder a new one.

My laptop computer will not charge my battery, it is not the power cord because the light still come on. i think it is the back where the power cord hook up too. do you think that could be the problem, and...

Most cases Battery will be the problem and rarely the Power socket. If you are always using the Laptop on the Battery mode unitl it gets below 20% then it is sure that battery has gone bad. Replace the battery and check it.

Compaq Presario X1000 power issues

Unassemble the fan and see if there is a lot of dirt and dust in there. If the fan is NOT working you need to fix that issue before you do anything else. Does the computer randomly shut down ?

Battery doesn't charge

Is that the original power cord for that? Or was that one bought aftermarket, some aftermarket chargers will only power your laptop and not charge.
