Windows xp.
Open up "control panel" then open up "network connections" then your wireless device should be there. If it is disabled it should say.

Windows vista
Open up control panel then open up "Network and Sharing Center" then click "manage network connections" should show there.

    1. Right-click My Computer then select Properties
    2. Select the Hardware tab
    3. Click the Device Manager button

    4. Under Network Adapters if there is a wireless item there with a red x or yellow ! then you have a problem.

Try to delete that and then restart

If that does not work then go to your computer makers website and click support or drivers, then seach for your model and then download the wireless drivers.

How to disable mouse pad double tap

On all Panasonic Toughbook models, if the Touchpad driver is
properly installed then you can disable the "TAPPING" feature.
Check under device manager. If the driver says PS2 Mouse,
then you need to locate your touchpad driver. Otherwise
locate the advanced setting under MOUSE under the control
panel and find "TAPPING" and un-check to disable feature.
Good Luck!

Panasonic Toughbook CF-52Mxxxx Qualcomm HS-USB driver cannot be found by CSA.

See if you can see the Qualcomm HS-USB driver in Control panel>device manager. From there you can click update drivers and manually search for a driver. This way you do not need to use an EXE file.

Touchpad on panasonic cf-52

You're going to need the drivers for the gestures installed, you can find this on their website under support and drivers.

It's pretty much the driver for the touch pad, then you can enable gestures by opening the GUI on for the program and enabling "gestures"

Cf-30 disable touchscreen

On all Panasonic Toughbook Notebooks,
you must get into the BIOS by pressing
the F2 Function key when you turn on the
Toughbook as it is booting. Press F2 repeatedly.
This must be done in the 1-2 seconds before
Windows starts to load. Then you will see
Touchscreen usually on the 2nd page with the
word "Enable". Simply select enable and press
"Enter" and the choice between enable and disable
will appear. Then select "Disable" with the cursor
and then press Enter. Finally you need to
"Save and Exit" the changes in the BIOS.
That is it. Good Luck to you.

How can I enable wireless for none wireless module of CF-R8?

I suggest staying away from BIOS flashing. Last thing you want is a brick.

In Win 7 - Go to Start > Control Panel > Network and Internet > Network and Sharing > Manage network connections. Enable the wireless card.

In XP - Go to Start > Control Panel > Network Connections. Enable the wireless card.

Can not enable wireless on toughbook cf-52 "radio is off"

Most Panasonic Toughbooks have a Physical On-Off
Wireless Switch Built-In. I belive the one on the CF-52
is located on the front right-hand side hidden behind
the handle. It is a small switch and you must slide it
to the right side (On) as opposed to the left side (Off).
Most modern Toughbooks also have a Wireless Switch
Utility which may be required. If so, you can find the driver at:
http://pc-dl.panasonic.co.jp/dl/search?q=&button=&dc%5B%5D=002001&p1=&p2=&oc=&lang=

That is it. Good Luck.

Wireless connectivity

possible reasons that it is "off"

Physical switch on outside of case that has a turn on and turn off function. Make sure this is turned on.

Go to network places and find the connection that says wireless (or something similiar), it should say Enabled, if not then enable it.
