Question about Samsung HLP5067W Television
How do I reset the timer on my HLP5067w DLP?
I know this post is old, but to reset the timer on your Samsung DLP-you need to enter the service menu. The steps are as follows:
With TV off do the following steps in succession:
1 Hit Mute
2 Enter 1 8 2 on number pad
3 Hit power button
The TV will power up and a service menu will appear. Scroll to the 'Option' menu and hit select One of your choices is for the time on the bulb. Just choose that one and reset it to 0
Hope this helps

I dont think you can. The time on there does not matter, if the bulb is going it, it is going out. It does not go out when it reaches the bulb life that i know of. If it does i have never heard of it.

A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
