Cctv remote view/ adtran total access 900e

Hey guys thanks for your help my question is?

I install cctv systems with remote viewing(this means a person is able to see his or her cctv cameras trough the internet with a software) I have done this many times in residential i get to access the router and open a port to let cctv access and I make it work, but know Im stuck -I got this project in a commercial location- I made my systems installation but I cant get it to remote view because the place owner haves a T1 system "where he gets internet and phone lines" let me put it like this-

T1 provider- verizo...."
TO
T1 model- adtran total access 900e
TO
linksys switch
TO
cctv dvr

my problem is that I do not know how to access this T1 to open a port for the cctv dvr

I tried to talk to talk to verizo..." but it looks like they don't know how to do this.

I read the adtran manual but I could not get an answer.

if you have any info about this please let me know thanks.

It's not likely that VZ gave you dynamic IP's, but it's possible. You should have been given more than one. If not, it's better to get more and a set of configuration instructions. In the last one I set up, we put a 5-port switch on the ethernet port coming off the Adtran, then fed 2 routers and a security system from the switch. Our gateway was one number lower than the bank of IP's we had, and we just gave each piece of equipment a static ip address and gateway to the gateway :-)

you will need a compatible application(iCamViewer) to connect it to your camera or camera server for iPad and that allows you to configure streams and IP settings as as well as your username and password to access the camera.
If you are using static internal IP address so you have to do Port Forwarding Setup.

I can not log into my adtran 624 router. How do I reset password?

There should be a reset button on the back of the router take a small pin and push and hold for 30 sec that will set the router to factory defaults you will loose any settings you have on it and will have to reconfigure it I have included the manual

I have a cctv camera installed in my office i want to access it i don't know how to access it. someone says that there is a website 198.168.1.100 login

Could be anything as IP address, like 192.168.xxx.xxx , so you need to talk to the IT guys. If this is not an option try to install this freeware "Advanced IP scanner" from http://www.snapfiles.com/freeware/network/fwscanner.html and run a scan. Hopefully you will see something like "CCTV" or "camera" next to an IP address. Then you can open a browser and type "http:// ipaddress you found" (example http://192.168.1.100).

How do I reset an adtran 908 to factory defaults

Not every router has the button. For Adtran you would need to reload the box and as soon as you see the first prompt wait for "You have 5 seconds to press escape to enter bootstrap mode." In bootstrap you can type "erase startup-config" and hit enter and then answer "y" to "Erase startup-configuration? " and reload.
You also have an option to run "bootstrap#erase file-system" but that will erase all files in the file-system which I don't recommend you do that. Erase startup-config is better.

?I hope that was helpful :)

Adtran Telnet

Are you getting any failure msgs? Where are you telnetting from? Has your router been restarted? If you have web access turned on the router, you might be able to login via your browser, or you could directly connect to your router via a console cable to check your configuration.

Can't access remotely my cctv. I have a dynamic ID address

it sounds like your router is setup for remote management. this means that when you type in the ip address the admin screens come up instead of the camera system. you need to turn off remote admin in the router and then configure port forwarding to reach your cameras
