Microsoft Office 2003 Professional - Picture manager

Hello,
I have recently gotten a new notebook pc running windows vista home premium with sp1 and installed ms office 2003 onto it. I have tried to crop a few pictures with this program but when I hit the save button or the okay it only returns to the original picture. I took the same picture and installed it onto a pc running windows xp pro with sp2 and tried the same thing and it works with no problem.

Why won't it work on vista and how do I fix it. I did check and office 2003 is compatible with vista so that is not the issue. I have used the word feature of office 2003 professional on this pc with no problems but the picture manager is not working properly.

any suggestions would be Greatly Appreciated.

TIA

Fixed the problem - Even though the pc checks for updates automatically I should have checked to see if there were any available updates at the microsoft website. There were 3 available and once downloaded and installed the picture manager part of office suite professional 2003 is now working just fine!

Malcolm, what exactly do you mean by "royal blue page"? Will your documents still print correctly? It's possible the computer shop turned on one of the Microsoft Windows accessibility options to help you see the screen better, and it is affecting your Microsoft Word.
