Re: dark horizontal line on canon np6050 copy
Did you try to run the wire cleaning funcation in the add. funcation mode? It could be that a wire cleaner got stuck in that spot and if you Run Wire Clean it may move it bake to Home Position and out of the way... Good Luck

You need to locate the source of strikes. 1) remove toner crg., if it has black lines or dirts on drum replace drum. 2) check/clean copy glass 3) use flash light to check fixing section ( Left sideway of copier small doors ) if damadged replace fixing assy.
Do you use the Doc. feeder? Try to make a copy off the copy board glass. Is the line there? Now make a copy with the adf. Is the line there? If so, you need to clean the small glass under the doc feeder. It looks like a glass ****, about a 1/2 inch wide. Clean it with windex and that should solve your line problem...
You say 'horizontal", but I imagine your paper is actually travelling 'laterally' or or sideways through the machine right? That means that the lines are actually running vertically based on the paper direction.
Is that 2" wide line visible on your drum? Drum cleaning blade has likely failed....it should ALWAYS be replaced with a new drum.
