Panasonic TH-37PE30 Tv - How do you remove the stand?!

Until now I've never needed to remove the TV from the stand I bought with the TV - does anyone know how this can be removed, ie srews/fixings as the operating instructions do not inform at all and I've spent 40 mins trying to figure this out to no avail!!!

Many thanks!

SOURCE: Where is the lamp housing unit & how do I remove it?

The lamp is in the front of the TV. Pop off the gray cover, about the width of the screen, located just left of the power button. You will then see a bunch of warning labels on the left. Unscrew the one screw that is there and take that piece off. There's your lamp. Unscrew the screw on the right of the lamp and the lamp will slide out.

I need a Panasonic TV TH-42PD25 base stand! I've searched ebay, no luck. This might sound dumb, but can I use base stands from any of the other Panasonic 42" models?

You maybe lucky, but make sure the mounting holes on the stand matches your TV.
Alternately you can use a wall mounting and these have mounting holes that suit most TVs.

TH-37PE30 - DVD picture now lousy (herringbone?)

Do you have an S Video cable connection on the DVD player? I'd try that If you have one or component (red green blue) cable or even the composite (yellow) connection. The SCART connection on the input PCB of the tv could be damaged. The cost of this board may be pricey so if you can use the other type of connections with the DVD player I'd recommend that or get a DVD player that has one of those. Your model does not have HDMI so those are your only other options. Hope this helped
