How do I delete ringtones that i downloaded? How can I get to my media?

The absolute best solution that i can recommend is a free app on the market called ASTRO. It lets you view everything on your phone and your memory card! Stuff that is crucial to your phone is protected, but anything on your memory card can be deleted.

Created my own ringtone, downloaded to my phone, now when I select ringtone, the one I created does not appear, I downloaded to both the the micro SD card AND the phone memory. h el p I can see and hear...

Putting ringtones on the phone is pretty easy, they have to be mp3 format, they have to be 198 kb or lower, go to your memory card, click on the ringtone, the next screen will show all your songs, click on your ringtones, move them to phone, paste under audio (should be the first option)Then back out of the screens, go to my stuff, click on audio, your ringtones should be there, click on one of them, in the upper right hand corner you will see a square with lines in it, click on it, it will give you the option to use as - Ringtone or Ringtone ID.

Downloading a ringtone to my phone

in motorola v3 razr ringtones get downloaded in the phone memory and doesnot go to the card memory . so you need to switch the memory to the phone memory and then you will be able to see that ringtone. once you move that ringtone to the card memory and then you can assign the ringtone also .

If you want ot assign the ringtone to some particular contact then it should be in the phone memory then only it wil pick up that not from the card .

I dont know how to send files to my motorola razor

Bluetooth is the only way I know to get ringtones onto your V3 other than downloading the ringtones or ordering a program called motorola phone tools. Your V3 isn't capable of whole songs. I have a phone that is a V3xx and it has a memory card that is recognized by windows as an external drive.

Motorola v750 No ringtone folder on SD card

Alas, the V750 doesn't allow you to manually add ringtones that way. The only way I've found to add a ringtone to my V750 is to email the ringtone as an attachment to my phone, then choose to save the file as a ringtone.
Every Verizon number comes with an xxxxxxxxxx@vzwpix.com email address, which comes across as a text, video, or picture message on your phone. Just replace the x's with your phone number.
NOTE: Be aware that when you open the message, your ringtone will begin playing; you probably don't want to do this at work!

Getting music from memory card

Hey Green-e,
I think ur problem is lack of knoledge to identify the type of data storages device.
There are two types of storage devices: 1) MMC(memory card)
2) Phone memory
When u enter menu->multimedia->sounds, there is a list of sound tracks, ringtones, etc.
In ur cellphone, u may have used Phone memory or memory card as default storage device. If u hv used phone memory, then change to MMC and if u hv used MMC, then change to phone memory.
TO change the storage device.
In sounds (where sounds, ringtones, appears), press menu button (above directional keys). Now u will see a list of options. There u can see storage device. Press on it and change it as u want (MMC or phone memory).

Low Memory for N72

hi, do you have an extra mem card in the phone if you have then move some data to this as the phone dont use the memory on card unless you put stuff their yourself, so the phone will say mem full even if memory card is empty so try this first.
1. delete any messages in inbox/outbox/sent messages as these will take up mem
2. delete any old phone numbers/pictures/screen savers that you dont use.
3. the best way to free up loads of memory is by deleting all of the free ringtones you got with the phone most of the free ones you will never use so i deleted all of these and just kept the ringtones i used most people never use the free ones you get when buying the phone so doing this will free up loads of room. Also delete any ringtones you have put on their that you never use as the music ringtones can use loads of mem alot more than the standard tones.
4. every time you send a message your phone stores them in sent messages so delete all of these.
Once you have done all of this you will find you have loads of free memory.
The best thing to do if you have a memory card in your phone is move all the music/music ringtones that you want to keep onto the card doing this means you can still use the ringtones and free up loads of the phones memory.
The phone dont take the mem card into acount when its telling you mem full ok so put as much on mem card as you can ok.
Let me know how you get on and also if you need further assistance ok
