Hi, My Yashica EZ 5011 camera will not turn on. The "on" green light will flash for a moment but then the camera shuts off within seconds. I put in fresh batteries, new memory card, and nothing happens.

Look at your memory card. SD cards have a slide switch along one edge. The position farthest from the metal contacts locks the card, protecting it from writes. The position nearest the contacts unlocks the card.
on the directional pad on the back there is a symbol that looks like a devil tail .. when you press that is will give you flash options.. just pic the one that says no flash

i am using yashica ez digital 6032 camera but while using SD card of 4GB memory, it is not working. it is asking to format. Pl. help me regarding this problem. Shall i format the camera?
