same problem, XP s/w, cannot send new documents to fax, send window appears blank, can resend faxes already in winfax folders, just cannot send

new ones. was sending ok earlier in day using word, when i tried to send an excel file, system froze and have not been able to send since. have removed winfax 10.03 sw and reloaded and same problem appears. this is probably not a winfax problem, maybe another s/w upgrade impacted this, i havent loaded any new XP fixes, but mcafee updates have occured on regular basis.

What you describe appears to be a printer driver problem but cannot be sure , I'd suggest looking at : http://www.getfaxing.com/cgi-bin/ib315/ikonboard.cgi?act=ST;f=17;t=413

I have a BSNL boardband connection, can you tell me how can I configured?

The internet connection that you use doesn't matter with WinFax, since WinFax requires a fax modem to send and receive faxes. You cannotuse your broadband modem to send receive faxes with WinFax PRO. http://www.getfaxing.com/forums

I can't send to certain fax machines with WinFax Pro

Yes, some modems might have problems with Service Pack 3. You might need to update the Windows modem drivers.

Alternatively, there might be problems with the settings in WinFax for your specific modem.

You'll need to post more information on the fax modem you are using.

Receive fax on the fax system as well as your PC

If you change the number of rings on the fax machine to more than on your PC, your PC should receive the fax first and accomplish your goal.

Winfax pro problem

This is a solution that was suggested for an earlier edition of the Winfax Pro, but there is no reason why it shouldn?t work on this one as well: 1. Close Winfax and any other program that has anything to do with it, delete all the temp files that yo don?t need. 2. Run Scandisk and fix any problems that may come up. 3. Run delfix.exe which is located in the winfax folder in the status files. 4. Run delfix-rebuild and delfix-optimize and check if the problem is solved. If the problem reoccurs there is another possibility- to change the name of the WinFax\data folder and create a new one which you will transfer the address book file, status files etc. from the old folder. Note that there might be some information that wouldn?t go through.
