I DNT KNOW WERE U CAN FIND THAT, **** i can give you a nice idea on how to get all the infos you need, **** u need to be a basic linux user! what you say!
burning a live cd (any linux live cd, puppy!) the kernel will autodetect all your drivers, after the boot, there is an icon on the desktope named "connect", (only in puppy linux), and there you can try to connect, and plus you can see all the infos about your wirless driver ;)

Presario V6000

2 things to try: go back on the HP website and request assistance from tech support; or go on Google and ask what you need to do to activate the wireless LAN. Check what the network settings are on your laptop 1st.

I have Toshiba notebook model is satellite M40 (psm40c-sf300E) which was bought few years ago, everything was installed and setup by technician. recently I formated the notebook evrything work fine except...

Do you have any discs given to you when you got the laptop? if you did have a look through them and there should be a driver suitable for your wireless internet driver. And also look through your internet service providers box which you were given your modem in and/or if its an external wireless drive (like u USB plug in wireless Internet) look for a disc because there might also be a driver for the wireless internet on the discs provided if you needed them to setup your internet. If not, Give the Technician a call and see if he/she has a backup of the drivers he/she used to setup your notebook. If they don't they will certainly direct you on the whereabouts to where you can find one and make sure its free since you purchased it pre-installed and was not given any discs which are meant to be given to you incase of such accidents.

Hope This Helps
