Zebra LP2443 My Zebra printer will only print 1 label at a time. If I try and print multiple labels they come out totally gray. Can't see the print or anything.

most likely to do with sensor --- label has a notch in it it in middle make sure it is clean --- do labels have a hole that align with sensor?

Check the size of the print width, both on the printer and on your label software.

The only software you need for the LP2443 is the driver from http://www.seagullscientific.com/aspx/thermal_printer_list.aspx#Zebra

Install this driver, then you can use any windows application that uses win drivers.

This printer is Thermal Direct (DT) only (ie it does not use a ribbon, the paper is thermally sensitive).

Check your labels are DT material by quickly running the edge of your fingernail across the surface. If it leaves a black mark then it is the right material, if no mark then it is not the right material, contact a label reseller for DT labels.

Fixed problem. Labels were too thin so LED was still being detected to stop progress of labels. Fixed by sticking some backing paper over the sensor and seems to be working fine.

I have the same exact printed which I also bought at the end of January, 2009, which I originally received without any drivers at all, but after I spend a lot of time looking, and with hard work, I finally found the correct drivers that I use for this same exact Thermal Label Printer.

Also, just a suggestion: If you are going to use this printer for shipping online, then you can go to www.UPS.com, and get free Thermal Shipping Labels to use with UPS shipping service.

Currently, I have 2 completely compatible working drivers for this label printer. 1 of the drivers is for Windows 2000, or earlier systems, and the other driver is for Windows XP, or later operating systems. I use the second driver, with Windows Vista, and I have no problems using my Thermal Label Printer.

Therefore, I do not remember where I exactly downloaded the 2x drivers for this Thermal Label Printer, and do not have enough time to upload them online, because I am very busy, but, I do have 2x of the drivers downloaded on my computer, in it's own folder, that I can upload later on to some online file sharing site, like www.mediafire.com.

So, if you still need the drivers for this Thermal Label Printer, please send me an e-mail, and I will be more than glad to help you with both getting the drivers, and if I will have time, or if it won't take me very long time, Installing this Thermal Label Printer on your computer.

i have the same problem , but my printer is ZEBRA S4M ZPL

my solution is:

in your barcode software: change printer settings: 1 and 2

1 . in media setting : change media type --> Thermal transfer
2. in documents options , configuration --> use printer settings

If you can tick rotate 180° in your driver then this should solve your problem

try adjusting the presure of the printhead
