SOURCE: LCD flat panel monitor blinks logo over and over

Sounds like the LCD monitor is not getting a proper input signal. Check your cables between the computer and monitor. Replace them if need. Also check the pins and make sure that none are bent or disfigured.

Try a replacment monitor from a family member or friend. If their monitor works ok.....then your due for a replacment. The are very little user servicable parts inside.

How do i get my thinkvison to get out of power saving mode

I do not know how many Thinkvision models are out there, but here is a site that offers manuals you can read online or download.
This is just a page from the manual I found. Here is a link to the manual I found. http://www.manualslib.com/manual/91948/Lenovo-Thinkvision-E54.html#manual
THIS MONITOR WILL APPEAR TO BE NON-FUNCTIONAL IF
THERE IS NO VIDEO INPUT SIGNAL. IN ORDER FOR THIS
MONITOR TO OPERATE PROPERLY, THERE MUST BE A VIDEO
INPUT SIGNAL.
This feature is designed to conserve electrical energy by reducing power
consumption when there is no video input signal present.when there is no
video input signal present. When there is no video input signal, this monitor,
following a time-out period, will automatically switch to an OFF mode. And the
LED will turn orange. This reduces the monitor's internal power supply
consumption. After the video input signal is restored, full power is restored
and the display is automatically redrawn. The appearance is similar to a
"Screen Saver" feature except the display is completely off. The display is
restored by pressing a key on the keyboard, or clicking the mouse. Lenovo ThinkVision E54 User Manual

My Lenovo Thinkvision monitor stuck in sleep mode.

You may need to blow the dust out of the back of the monitor or get a new rebuilt monitor. They run about $30 at shops that rebuild them. Usually good will stores have computer stores attached to some of them. The computer store in Omaha is Called good bytes.

Monitor IBM thinkvision 6734-ACO 17", turn OFF

Sounds to me your high voltage powersupply is out. To repair open monitor and remove high voltage powersupply. Inspect the caps on the board. Look for the ends of the caps to be mushroomed out. Replace these caps, usally 470 uf caps. Replace with 25volt caps. Might also be some 100uf caps as well. This is a common problem with all LCD monitors.

I have an image with the flashlight, but no backlighting on my IBM 6734 lcd monitor

The inverter module is bad or the back light behind the LCD screen has stopped working, I would suggest an estimate if you decide to have it repaired.

What large lcd monitor can I buy that will best display a full 8.5x11 page and still let me be able to read the type?

Some wide-screen monitors have a "rotate" option in the software that comes with the monitor -- you physically rotate the screen 90 degrees, and then Windows will rotate the entire "desktop" so that you now have an "extra-tall' screen, instead of an "extra-wide" screen.
