Hello,

No, If the problem comes with connecting the signal, then it could be RGB.
if this is coming with all time then check LCD panels and Fly-eye lens.

Last thing is lamp unit.

Might be a problem with the video input. Try a different cable. If HDMI, you will need a really good cable for HDTV or 3D, and they are very expensive. My 12 foot cable cost $180.

How do i eliminate the vertical green lines on the projected area?

Sadly the LCD/DLP wafer is failing, and the problem will progressively get worse. The DLP wafers can be replaced but it may cost as much as replacing the entire projector with an updated one. SORRY!

Yes this is most likely the lamp. Does it eventually go back to just a red light?

Toshiba LCD model#TLP-T60M. Projects images but screen is green.

reset the settings to factory default. then make sure that the input matches the signal and that the cables are working. if you still have a problem, and the entire screen (including the initial toshiba screen) is entirely green tinted, you may have a main board issue.

White areas in the image are yellow and the black are blue-green

you have a few issues. first is the yellow in white. the light filter on the blue lcd panel is fried due to excessive dust and heat. unfortunately, you may have to replace the whole optical engine. as for the flashing horizontal lines, the power supply isn't cooling down and the caps are drying out, causing fluctuations in voltage. so, replace the power supply.

Green screen projection

This is the exact same issue as I described for an Epson user. So I'll repeat it here.

I assume this is an LCD. I don't remember the s4 being a DLP projector.

This sounds like the LCD panel used for the green color has gone out. The image is made up of red, green and blue images layered upon the screen. If the green panel has gone out then there is nothing filtering out the green light in the image. This causes a nice green hue to the whole screen.

It could be a simple open and reconnect fix. I personally have never opened a projector, so I'm not going to walk you through it as I do not know how hard it would be to tinker with. It should eb a cheap fix for a true repair man though.

Green image projection

It sounds like one of two things. Try replacing the vga cable for a quick fix. Not that you originally stated it was hooked to a computer. Or for the other fix the lamp, or lcd panel. I guess that is three options. Send it back if the cable isn't the issue and it is still under warrenty

Projector Image Problem

Hi There

Your Projector switches to a 16:9 ratio when hooked up to a Video signal and to a 4:3 Ration when hooked up to a PC signal.

You can manually change this in the Menu functions if this bothers you.

Simply go to Aspect Ratio in your Menu's subfolders and press left or right once you scrolled down to it.

Toshiba laptop won't work with new optoma projector

-toggle the laptop display using the FN keys and F5 I believe. -lower laptop resolution to 800 x 600 -look in laptop display properties for lcd or external display settings, see if it (external crt) has to be enabled on the laptop first.
